Lego Minifigures Online Game Is Coming

Unravel what is surely an Academy Award Winning* story! Take on quests such as searching for buried treasure in the pirate world, rescuing the kingnapped king in the medieval world, and even helping Zeus himself in the mythology world!
It seems there are almost 100 different minifigures to collect and play as, from Chicken Suit Guy to Farting Figure Skater (not her official name, but seriously…she’s a fart joke in the trailer, which seems unusually crass for Lego). Why not an ability to build your own? While you can customize your own play style and accessories, it seems you’ll have to pick a core character to use the special abilities associated with same.
Watch the reveal trailer after the jump, terrible fart joke and all. Then go to YouTube and read the comments if you want all the magic totally spoiled – many disgruntled developers appear to be speaking out about all the layoffs, baiting and switching they say was involved.
