Amazing Stop-Frame Animation Self-Painted on a Woman’s Face

Hand-painted animation is tricky. Hand-painted animation on your own face, using makeup? I imagine it to be insane. Peter Gabriel had a whole crew in those old music videos where crazy shit happens to his mug, but Emma Allen filmed and performed this all herself, with a mirror and a camera. Watch her age, die, become a skeleton, float into space, deliver a fetal cat from her face…I’ve said too much. But it’s all done with face paints and still photos.
I can paint a halfway decent Ultimate Warrior logo on my face and that’s about it.
