Kung Fury: Kung Fu Nazis Versus Gun-Toting Vikings Riding Dinosaurs

KungFury.jpg

Like a crazy ’80s video game, Kung Fury combines street-brawling action in ’80s Miami with the Nintendo Power Glove, Martial-Arts Hitler (a.k.a. “The Kung-Fuhrer”), time travel, giant Norse deities, dinosaurs and more. And after a day on Kickstarter, it’s already a quarter of the way to being funded, which shouldn’t be a surprise since it’s way more awesome-looking than anything Zach Braff ever did.

The end goal is a 30-minute short to be made available online for free, and a feature if anyone bites after seeing said short. I’d settle for a game company picking it up rather than a Hollywood studio, but what do I know.

If the trailer doesn’t win you over, I don’t know if we can be friends. I mean, probably we can, because I’m nice. But I’ll keep reminding you that you’re wrong.
