Retro-Kenner-Style Figure Motherload! Rocketeer, Snake Plissken and Firefly, Oh My! (Plus More)

Entertainment Earth just started revealing images and line-ups of the new Funko Re-Action Kenner-style figures, and while I’m not a fan of the soft-sculpt, limited-articulation style – though I do love the cardbacks – this is a motherload of impressive, a who’s-who and what’s what of dream licenses in a single scale. In addition to all those listed above, we’re also getting Goonies, Back to the Future, Universal Monsters, Nightmare Before Christmas, most classic “movie maniacs” (Freddy, Jason, the Crow, Pinhead, Michael Myers, Ghostface and Trick ‘r Treat‘s Sam), Pulp Fiction, Buffy the Vampire Slayer (TV) and Terminator (the first one).

And this would all be amazing if I liked this style of figure. But I don’t. And I’m not sure there is a super wide appeal for them, but god bless ’em for ambition.

The claim is that some of these will also show up in a highly detailed 6″ scale similar to Star Wars Black. Now that just might get me hard.

A few more images below…

They don’t have pictures of every figure yet, but you can see more and preorder them all at Entertainment Earth.
