Cartoon Movie News Trifecta: Peanuts, Maleficent and Episode VII

Thought I’d forgotten the “trifecta” posts, didn’t you? Well, sometimes they become useful. Especially when the news is about movies that all seem so extremely predictable that “news” on them barely matters. Here you go:
-Confirming the obvious, Disney’s Bob Iger says that Star Wars Episode VII will take place 30 years after Return of the Jedi. As we know, this is terribly inaccurate because it has in fact been 31 years since that movie came out.
-New trailer for Maleficent is all about her having big black wings, which makes me wish I were watching a Danzig video instead.
-And finally, the trailer for the new Peanuts movie…looks like a trailer for a Peanuts movie. It may be CGI, but the facial expressions have a nice hand-drawn quality to them. Check it out after the jump…
