Geek Apparel of the Week: Lego Movie Unikitty Shirt You’ve Been Waiting for

Considering the way The Lego Movie is – brilliance and all – a lengthy bit of product placement with a bazillion possibilities for tie-in merchandise (seriously, some of the movie toys are based on things you’ll miss if you sneeze), I’m always flabbergasted that they don’t seem to have realized what a goddamn goldmine Unikitty is. Yes, there are multiple versions of the figure, that you have to buy several of the pricier sets to get, but where are the plushes? T-shirts? Last time I was in a popular T-shirt store, they had exactly two of the film’s major characters featured: Emmet and Benny the Spaceman.
Above is the shirt we ought to be seeing everywhere. The character couldn’t be more calculated to appeal to fans of stuff like My Little Pony, and take it from one who lives with such a person – there is foaming at the mouth for this. Hell, I already ordered it. The power of Kragle compelled me.
