DuckTales – The R&B Slow Jam

I know, I know. The term “R&B slow jam” is enough to make me break out in hives as well, because I remember the mid-’90s, when that term exclusively referred to the likes of R. Kelly and Boyz II Men. But this is old school, Al Green-type stuff, applied sincerely to a song so unlikely to ever be sung that way. And it totally works. Play it in the prison chapels and even the Beagle Boys might become believers. In fact, if you don’t dig it, you might just have a gear loose.
I love the singer’s shirt, too.
