Spook Train, a Clay Animated Horror Anthology Feature


Yes, it’s a Kickstarter. You didn’t think a Hollywood studio would greenlight something like this, did you? The closest we got to that – and are likely to get – was director Lee Hardcastle contributing the animated “T Is for Toilet” segment in The ABCs of Death. Kids go on a dark theme park ride and view ten twisted, clay-splattering tales within. What they see is presumably slightly darker than the California Raisins being turned into wine…but along similar lines.

Hardcastle’s thick northern English accent makes Christopher Eccleston sound like Benedcit Cumberbatch, but I think he’s asking for your support. I must say I love the carnival of doom atmosphere so far. Trailer and Kickstarter pitch follow below, and this was posted a couple weeks ago, so it’s not some BS prank just for today.
