I See the New Snowpiercer Trailer, and I Don’t See Any Confusion

Remember Snowpiercer? The post-apocalyptic sci-fi film from Korean director Bong Joon-ho, based on a French comic about everybody left on Earth living aboard one train that never stops? Despite being in English and having major stars in it, there’s been talk that Harvey Weinstein wants to trim it to somehow make it more palatable or comprehensible to Americans.
I’m not sure what the plans are at this point – next week I’m supposed to see the original director’s cut, which will also be playing the LA Film Festival. Maybe they’ll wait and see how it’s received there. In the meantime, there’s a new red-band trailer…and it makes me want to see as much of the thing as possible.
