Ju-on and on, and on, and on…Grudge-ing Sequel Gets Trailered

Man, I remember being scared as HELL the first time I saw Ju-on: The Grudge, with its backwards-walking dead mother and meowing little ghost boy Toshio. Of course I was also scared as hell when Chucky came to life for the first time in Child’s Play. But both are examples of how you can’t really go home again. Especially once you’ve seen original director Takashi Shimizu at Comic-Con, suggesting to a crowd in broken English that a future sequel should be “little white boy in space.”

Well, here’s a trailer for Ju-on: The Beginning of the End – it’s not in English, but it really doesn’t need to be, unless there’s some nuance in the dialogue that would explain why I’m watching a virtual remake. Toshio in space would at least be different.
