No, not the DJ, but the British cartoon superspy – and his sidekick Penfold – who amused children stateside on Nickelodeon in the ’80s. He’s getting a TV reboot next year.

Perhaps fittingly, all we know so far about the new version is a silly pun: instead of his signature eyepatch, “the rodent will now sport an i-patch, a gadget featuring multiple technological functions.” Maybe considering that “Penfold” refers to an old-fashioned snail-mail box, he should also get a new, hip sidekick named Inbox?

Just a thought.
