Disney Announces More DuckTales – Woo Hoo!

Here’s a property revival I think most of you will be okay with. Unca Scrooge and his nephews are returning to TV, with a new show on Disney XD starting in 2017. Disney XD’s Senior VP of Programming is saying all the right things, referencing the Carl Barks comics and specifying all the characters who’ll be back: “Scrooge McDuck, Huey, Dewey, Louie, Launchpad McQuack, Donald Duck, Duckworth, Gyro Gearloose, Flintheart Glomgold, Magica DeSpell, Poe, Ma Beagle, the Beagle Boys, Mrs. Beakley, and Webbigail Vanderquack.”
You know what would be really great? A hip-hop, scratch-filled version of the old theme song, or better yet, a dubstep take….(Shhh, Luke…turn off that sarcasm meter…it’s okay…Disney won’t mess that up…You sure?…Yeah, I think so….)
