Star Wars: Uprising Game Trailer Asks if You Believe Rebel Propaganda About Palpatine’s Defeat

In this new mobile game that is presumably canonical like everything else now, Han Solo is spreading word of the second Death Star’s destruction, while Imperial officers try to persuade the population of the galaxy that the Empire is still strong and all this talk of losing to teddy bears is a lie. As all this is happening…

Star Wars: Uprising will feature key events set in the Anoat Sector, inclusive of Hoth and Cloud City, and will allow players to create characters, go on missions, build their gear and skills, and organize crews and factions to participate in wide-ranging battles. Keeping up with tradition of Star Wars roleplaying games, players will learn hundreds of new abilities and collect classic gear and equipment conducive to creating their own takes on iconic roles: Smuggler, Bounty Hunter, Rebel Guerilla, Diplomat, Gambler, or something new entirely.

The Empire is notably not the First Order yet; I’m guessing the opening text crawl of the next movie will be the first time that’s explained.

When’s my Gungans vs. Ewoks game coming out? Suggested tagline: “when both lose, everyone wins.”
