What we allegedly have here is an 11 minute proof-of-concept made by the Muppets themselves, and officially released post Comic-Con to avoid bootlegging. This is, of course, a typical in-joke.
Also: Miss Piggy doing a war movie with Topher Grace and making out with him, Kermit dating a new pig, Fozzie going to meet his girlfriend’s human parents…to paraphrase a song from their last-movie-but-one, there’s no more that need be said, now you’ve put these pictures in my head.
A whole new stream of fan fiction is going to come out of this.
