I have no idea if this really is actually clever marketing for the NWA biopic in Japan, though the source says it is. But do we need a reason to enjoy some of the most “dangerous” music of my high school years enjoyed by a Pokemon best known for being yellow and cute?
I think not. And I learned something.
I never knew there was a “clean” version of the song. “From the stupid dope gang with a attitude”? Well, it beats Ice Cube’s other attempts at being family friendly.
Gotta love Japan's Straight Outta Compton movie marketing. These Pikachus are so G, yo.
