Tom Hardy to Produce, Possibly Star in 100 Bullets Movie

As Sandman continues along the path of things that will always be talked about but never made (Hi, Stephen King epics!), an easier Vertigo adaptation looks to be coming first, with Tom Hardy producing and looking to be in Brian Azzarello and Eduardo Risso’s comic about seemingly random people given untraceable bullets to kill the person who has most wronged them, ultimately tying into a conspiracy that dates back as far as the Roanoke Island disappearances in the 16th century. It’s not clear if Hardy will be Agent Graves, the catalyst for most of the action, or one of the various protagonists.
But it is fitting that only after his cinematic version of Gotham lies in ashes, he’s giving people permission to die.
