I Guess the Doctor’s a Top 40 Kinda Guy
About a million of you sent me this “Tenth Doctor: The Musical” clip, so I feel compelled to run it, even though it’s pretty much just a glorified fan music video. Sure, it goes through every moment of the Tenth Doctor’s life, and it’s very well edited, and the conceit of Eccleston watching it on TV is fun, but man, those music choices. I understand why they were used, because each section only lasts a few seconds and you need to get the match between music and video across quickly, but I could seriously go the rest of my life without hearing REM’s “End of the World” song again. Although I do like “Tubthumping” being Captain Jack’s theme, since I think he’d be perfectly willing to have sex with a tub.
