Home>Movies>More Girls Assaulting Things More Girls Assaulting Things By Rob Bricken October 12, 2009 Movies 0 Comment There’s a new trailer for Mamoru Oshii’s (of Ghost in the Shell fame) next flick Assault Girls, and I still have no idea whether it looks awesome or terrible. It still has cute Japanese girls shooting ridiculously large guns and massive Dune-esque sandworms, but it seems to take place almost entirely on a barren plain, which… well, is going to be pretty fucking boring when the CG isn’t there to distract from it. Plus, after Ghost in the Shell 2, I can’t shake the feeling that all the action is actually in the trailer, and the other 118 minutes will be the Japanese girls quoting Paradise Lost to each other. Thanks to Kevin O. for the tip.
