G.I. Joe’s (and Cobra’s) Sweet Rides

As much as I may preemptively hate the live-action G.I. Joe movie, I suppose I have it to thank for the plethora of awesome, old-school G.I. Joe figures, and these recently announced vehicles (which were always the most awesome part of the Joe toy line). Oh, and the 25th anniversary of the toy line. It actually probably has nothing to do with the movie at all. Good. Anyways, according to ToyNewsI, the first wave of vehicles toys include:

? Vamp Jeep w/Clutch

09_Hiss__scaled_600.jpg
? Hiss Tank w/Rip-It

More after the jump!

? Serpentor’s Air Chariot w/Serpentor vs. Armadillo Tank w/Steeler

05_Trouble_Bubble__scaled_600.jpg
? Ram Motorcycle w/Breaker vs. Cobra Trouble Bubble w/Tele-Viper

If you want to see the Armadillo Tank or Ram (or the figures), go here. First of all, I’d like to point out how awesome it is that Serpentor’s Air Chariot has a “Gun Reactor” warning, which clearly was put there after an oblivious Serpentor wandered too close to the gun, and his cape got caught in the turbine or something. I mean, only Serpentor rides the damn thing, so clearly, the warning is for him. Awesome,

The second thing I’d like to point out how awesome these all are (well, except the ones I didn’t show). I’ve never collected Joe figures, even as a kid (I preferred to talk my friend Jarrod into letting us smash his figures with a hammer to see how they’d explode) but I can’t imagine not buying at least a Trouble Bubble or a HISS.
