SOTA Now Serving Robot Chicken
In the “News I can’t Fucking Believe I Missed from SDCC” File, it turns out that SOTA Toys?makers of fine Street Fighter actions figures, among others?got the rights to do some Adult Swim toys. I have no idea what series that entails, but SOTA showed off the above figures of the titular Robot Chicken and the Robot Washing Machine Humper, as well as some excellent plushes of the Aqua Teen Hunger Force trio (you can see ’em here). And that’s all I know?if/when I find out more, I’ll keep you posted.
P.S.?It suddenly dawned on me that most of you might not “get” the article title. See, “Robot Chicken” was named after a bizarre menu item from a local Chinese restaurant from the studios, after Adult Swim rejected several million other titles (well, enough titles that Seth and Matt were desperate enough to submit Chinese food names). Wait?it’s still chicken, so anyone could serve chicken. It still works. Never mind. Carry on.
