A Moment of TR Self-Pleasure: The Field of Topless Robotics Has Expanded
Hola, folks! I’ve got a few announcements to make, so please forgive this intrusion upon your normally scheduled nerdiness:
? First off, Topless Robot is now on Facebook. If you have a Facebook account, I humbly request you to join and show your support for this little website. You can meet fellow TR readers, make fun of my constant spelling errors…actually, I have no idea what I’m going to do with the Facebook page, other than use it to try to prove to my boss I deserve a raise. I’ll happily take your suggestions there or at toplessrobot(at)gmail.com.
? Also, you may have noticed that new Facebook “F” icon at the end of every article. You can now add TR articles to your own Facebook pages by hitting that button. Slowly but surely, this website is bursting through to 2006!
? Topless Robot has also joined the wide, attention-span-crushing world of Twitter. I have a better handle on what’s going on there; I’ll be posting a few links to TR articles, a few links to stories cool but not quite worthy of a regular article, and then Twittering my own life as well, as seems to be the accepted thing. Since I work all day in front of a computer, talking to almost no one and scarcely wearing pants, I don’t know how this could fail to be entertaining.
? Last but not least, since Monday’s Heroes live-blog was such a hit (on my liver), and I’m still desperate for the approval of random people on the internet, I’ll be live-blogging the season for the conceivable future. While the live-blog was and will be all about making merciless fun of the show?not the least of which was Super Mohinder’s magical new sex powers?I did indeed enjoy it, and thought it much improved over last season.
That’s for now, but I’ll hopefully have a bigger, better surprise in a few weeks, but it honestly kind of depends on how many comments the site gets between now and then. The more the better, really. Anyways, have a good night, and remember, please don’t watch Knight Rider.
