Doctor Who Has No Idea What You’re Doing Here

You don’t have to watch the above video to marvel (or be aghast) at its contents. Some driven, possibly insane individual has assembled a chronological clip-fest of every single Doctor Who scene in which someone says “What are you doing here?” (or some variation thereof). That’s 45 years of episodes and movies and specials to go through, and it should be no surprise the clip is 8 minutes long. The AV Club sums it up better than I ever could:

Whoever made this compilation has achieved a kind of apotheosis of nerdosity, of the kind where it’s clear that so much loving, obsessive effort has gone into something so completely ephemeral that it’s achieved a transcendence of its own. Of course, I might be saying that because after watching the whole thing I’m now a little disoriented … what am I doing here?

You’re watching 8 minutes of one line repeated hundreds of times on Doctor Who, that’s what you’re doing. God help us all.
