Everybody Loves Chun Li
And of course by everybody, I mean nobody — but I very literally mean nobody, as Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li has an astounding 0% freshness rating on Rotten Tomatoes. To put it Uwe Boll terms, Alone in the Dark — the one were Tara Reid plays a goddamn scientist — has a 1% freshness rating. Awesomely, the original terrible Street Fighter movie starring Jean-Cleaude Van Damme has a triumphant 14% rating in comparison.
The film premiered at #8 with an astoundingly low $4.6 million, or not quite 8% of its $60 million budget, which it will clearly never make back, especially since all its potential viewers will be watching Watchmen come Friday anyways. Math — it’s fun and mean!
