More Site Questions, More Furious Self-Pleasure

Thanks for all the kind words yesterday, guys. It’s nice to know that despite my general stupidity and incessant typos, you guys are generally pleased with the site. When I started TR, I really wanted to make an all-purpose nerd site, giving today’s nerds the news they needed to know to be informed and entertained in all aspects of nerdery. I’m glad that you guys were looking for the same.

Now, as much as I’d like to avoid the next season of Heroes both for my sanity and my liver, I can’t be full-time and avoid live-blogging the next season. But we have a while, so… what else would you guys want a TR live-blog of? Let’s hear some suggestions (although I do have to veto Lost, because I’m too into it to type during it).

Second question: Who’s going to SDCC? It turns out that I’m attending both for TR and Anime News Network (covering some wack anime figures, natch), and I’m thinking about trying to arrange a TR meet-up. It will of course be happening at a bar. So who here is going to SDCC, is over 21, and wants to meet an overweight nerd? I need to know approximate headcount and what day would work best for everyone (Thursday the 23rd, Friday the 24th, or Saturday the 25th), and I’m open to suggestion for nearby bars to hold it. This won’t be a deal where Topless Robot can pay for a bunch of nerds to get drunk, but you’re welcome to buy me booze — almost as good, right?
