A Batman-Less Superman/Batman DVD Preview
If the Titan Maximum preview didn’t do it for you, try this early scene from DC’s Superman/Batman: Public Enemies DVD. The story might be too goofy for some (if you’re read it and remember the end, you know what I mean) and the character designs don’t look particularly Ed McGuinness-y, but DC’s been batting 1000% with these last few releases, so I’d say it’s safe to have our hopes up. Besides, this clip features Superman in a rare appearance of not being wishy-washy about fighting a bad guy — Metallo shows up, and Supes gives him a Buick to the face, then sets the car on fire with his heat vision.
