Oh, indeed — fate, not content to make us miserable by giving us a glimpse of the pretty good-looking Flash game we’ll seemingly never get to play, has added insult to injury by sneaking out this video of an early build of an apparently new and canceled Road Rash game. Younger gamers might not know about Road Rash, and its wonderful combination of motorcycle racing and beating people up with bottles, bats and chains — but it was one of the best games on the Sega Genesis, and many a nerd (myself included) has longed for a proper sequel. But instead, all we get a glimpse of what could have been. Thanks a lot, fate. Asshole.
