DC Likes It with the Light Out

Which is my oblique way of saying that DC’s Blackest Night saga is kicking some serious ass. As Robot 6 reports, for the first time since 1968 — more than forty years ago — DC had the top 6 best-selling comic titles last month. Check out October’s Top 10 from Diamond:

Now Marvel still had and has the bigger market share, but DC’s gotta be feeling good — that’s total domination right there. I’ve actually been reading the Blackest Night titles, and while I like ’em, I’m kind of frustrated that it’s still just superheroes fighting superpowered zombies. There’s been no movement, just fighting and running (mostly running, actually), although I admit I haven’t been reading either of the Green Lantern titles. Is that where the action’s going down? Because everyone on Earth is getting their asses handed to them for the last four issues in a row.
