?Director Edgar Wright — of Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz fame — finally released the first shot of the characters of Scott Pilgrim Versus the World yesterday on his Twitter page. Unfortunately, that shot was of a poster from about 45 degrees below, making it just slightly angled, as you can see. Still, since I don’t think there’s a movie I’m looking forward to more — I love the comic, and I don’t think there’s a director alive better suited to it than Wright — I wanted to show it anyways. From right to left, that Scott, Ramona Flowers, Young Neil, Knives Chao, Kim Pine and Stephen Stills. You know, I think if they sold a poster of the tilted picture, I’d still buy it because I’m so excited about this flick.
