Solomon Kane Continues to Kick My Ass
Man, every time I see a new Solomon Kane clip (klip?) I get more excited. This one is actually a mini-featurette on some of the fight scenes in the film, with some interviews and a little behind-the-scenes stuff, although it reveals some cool shit. Frankly, I don’t what is more awesome:
? How closely James Purefoy and crew are adhering to Robert Howard’s books
? That James Purefoy has done 95% of his own stunts
? That Solomon Kane kills most people without breaking his stride
? That James Purefoy can actually fight “in character” (!)
? That Kane/Purefoy has a duel with a dude who is on fire the entire fucking time
Okay, it’s obviously the fire thing. But the other stuff is awesome too.
