Who Knew That Daleks Love Karaoke?

It’s a little known fact that when they aren’t exterminating, Daleks enjoy getting blind stinking drunk and performing horrific karaoke covers of Wham songs. It’s probably best if you have a few in you yourself before attempting to sit through all 4:21 of the clip, but if the Doctor can defeat Davros time and time again you can deal with robotic killing machines doing their best George Michael impersonations. Forget those David Tennant Christmas idents from earlier, this is what the BBC should be airing throughout the holiday season. Oddly enough, this isn’t the first time the Daleks and Christmas music have been thrust together. In 1964, the British pop act The Go-Go’s (no relation to the “Our Lips Are Sealed” hitmakers) earned some airplay with their song “I’m Gonna Spend a Christmas with a Dalek.” Amongst the track’s revelations are that the Skaro natives love plum pudding and that they wish all of mankind a Merry Christmas.
