?Slim pickins this week. Oh well.

? Red Cliff
John Woo’s insanely long but well-liked period/war/martial arts film. Both the two-part original Chinese version and the supposedly superior edited-down U.S. theatrical version are available today. That rarely happens, but everyone agrees the shorter version is much better. Definitely go with that one.

? The Prisoner
The AMC miniseries based on the TV classic. I meant to watch it, but I forgot about it.
Can any Prisoner fans tell me if I should bother with this one, or just watch the original series?

? Yojimbo and Sanjuro
On Blu-ray. Man, Yojimbo is one of the most entertaining movies ever made, and Sanjuro is about the ballsiest sequel to a mainstream entertainment flick ever made. I can’t recommend them enough. Oh, Toshiro Mifune. I miss you.

? Toy Story and Toy Story 2
On Blu-ray.

? Krod Mandoon and the Flaming Sword of Fire
I watched a few episodes of this show; every once in a while it was incredibly funny, but mostly it was terrible. And frankly, I’ll never forgive it for showing me John Rhys-Davies in tiny underpants.

? Zombies of Mass Destruction
Apparently these are just regular zombies, and don’t actually explode at any point. I feel gypped and I haven’t even seen the film.
