Verily, like “very.” Get it? Ugh. My apologies for the wretched pun, it’s just that the first picture from Thor has been released and it’s fried my brain a bit.The Incredible Hulk and the Iron Man films have done such a fantastic job establishing credible superheroes so far that fans were wondering how Thor and his out there Asgardian backstory would fit into the realistic world that these connected Marvel films are establishing. ?This photo from Yahoo Movies shows a brooding Chris Hemsworth in a terrific looking costume that is clearly comic-influenced but also seems grounded in the reality that Favreau et al have created. It’s pretty encouraging stuff. The only question now is what does Tim Gunn think? Thanks to Matt P. for the tip.
