Final Fantasy XIV Makes Me Hate FF13 So Much More
I’m pretty sure I’d said this before, but goddamn it — watch this lengthy trailer for the MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV, and just try not to be pissed. Towns. Townfolk. Shops, presumably. A world map. A combat system that isn’t inherently broken and stupid (we’ll see how that Fatgue/XP system ends up, though). All things that Final Fantasy XIII lacked, but Square Enix has deigned to put in FF14, because they know they’re what players want. But if you don’t like MMORPGs and prefer classic RPGs, you’ll just have to wait until Final Fantasy XV, although you’ve been waiting since FFX. Because Square couldn’t be bothered to add them to FF13. So mad. So bitter. (Via Kotaku)
