Super Terrific Japanese Thing: Yaskawa-Kun
Yaskawa-kun is a robot made by the — wait for it — Yaskawa ice cream company, which automatically serves ice cream with a smile and an oversized head. When the robot uprising finally happens, I take some comfort that Americans will likely be killed by our hideous, evil-looking Terminators, and the Japanese will, somewhat embarrassingly, be brutally murdered by goofy-looking robots like Yaskawa-kun. On the other hand, our Terminators will probably tear us apart like fresh bread with their cold steel mandibles, and the Japanese will die by lethal doses ice cream, which will be significantly more pleasant and delicious.
