Another Transformers Toys-You-Actually-Care-About Update
Takara has revealed a shit-ton of their new Transformers United line, better known in the USA as the Generations line, formerly known as the Classics line, also known as the line with the good shit in it. Even thought these are Japanese toys, Hasbro has already brought some of them out in America, and presumably the rest will follow. Last time I showed you Wreck-Gar; some of the highlights of these newly announced characters include Kup (above), Blur, Wheeljack, Scourge, and Classics-style updates of Rumble and Frenzy, meaning they look very much like their animated counterparts but they now transform into tanks. You can see the entire Japanese line-up at Big Bad Toy Store and pre-order them if you don’t want to wait/hunt down the American versions. Also, I think this might be the only way to get Megatron in his awesome Classics/massive gun mode but in his original G1 colors (since Hasbro has to put random bits of purple on him to keep cops from shooting Megatron-wielding kids).
