World’s Crappiest Racists Are Mad About the Thor Movie

?When Marvel announced that the excellent black actor Idris Elba would be playing the role of the ostensibly white but still-totally made-up Norse god Heimdell in the Thor movie, the world reacted with a resounding “Huh? Enh, whatever.” That is, the world minus the nitwits of the Council of Conservative Citizens, who feel that by casting a black man as a white fictional character Marvel is waging a vicious anti-white campaign against… white people, I guess.

Now, I don’t really want to discuss the actual issue of Elba being cast as Heimdall, because 1) he’s one minor character in the movie, 2) he’s not even a Norse god, but the Marvel-Jack Kirby version of a Norse god, which is much weirder, and 3) everyone else in the fucking movie is white, so if Marvel is actually running a vicious anti-white people campaign, they’re doing a spectacularly shitty job of it.

But even on the off chance that you happen to be a racist, I still think you’d hate these guys, wouldn’t you? Aren’t there bigger things to be racist about? Really, of all the things to be racist about, they’re spending their time bitching about a minor character in a goddamn superhero movie? That’s some shitty racists. Hell, even the other racists must think they suck.
