?ToyNewsI has the first pic of the painted Ghostbusters Bishoujo statue, which I posted the art for last month (they have other pics, too). A few things of note:
? Although I said last time that the statue is of Janeane, that’s wrong. Her name is apparently Lucy.
? She’s designed by Shunya Yamashita, the guy who designs both the Marvel x Bishoujo and DC x Bishoujo statues for Kotobukiya.
? This is apparently #1 in a line of Movie x Bishoujo statues. Meaning there should be more statues of sexy anime girl versions of Western properties.
I can’t tell you how much I approve of this. Now, I’d bet even money that we’ll see a sexy Back to the Future girl in a revealing Marty McFly outfit, as well as a sexy Die Hard girl in John McClane’s wifebeater. Personally, I’ll be rooting for a sexy Predator girl (a la Schwarzenegger, not the actual Predator) and a sexy ’80s Tron girl, of course. Question: Can you get a credit card specifically for statues of sexy anime girls in revealing outfits?
