I Think He Wants You to Step Away from the Controls
Why have I posted this music video? Several reasons.
1) It’s a song named “Step Away from the Controls” by a band called Planetoid.
2) Planetoid has three members: an alien assassin, a plant-guy, and a cyborg.
3) Topless Roboteer Greg Easton is a member of the band (although I don’t know which one) the band’s photgrapher.
4) Despite the fact Greg has been posting on TR forever he hasn’t won a shirt yet, and I feel kind of guilty about that. Posting his pals’ band’s music video seems like the right thing to do for a loyal reader.
5) The album appears to be called “The Abraxas Tactics,” which, even if it has nothing to do with the TR community, is vastly amusing.
5) And most importantly, the song has a fucking killer guitar riff.
