Real Steel May Be the Finest Robot Boxing Movie of Our Generation
It might be the worst robot boxing movie of our generation, too. Actually, it could be best and worst, because I can’t imagine there are going to be many more robot boxing movies in the near future. I can barely believe this movie exists, truth be told. In fact, I’m not sure what’s more insane — that this movie exists at all, or that despite looking ridiculously dumb it also looks kind of fun, or that the filmmakers apparently went back in time to 2000 to hire the 11-year-old Jake Lloyd to play Jackman’s kid.
