Hitting the (Revelation) Trail

Do you recall me showing a trailer for my buddy John Gibson’s (he sometimes posts her as Skeletor) period zombie movie Revelation Trail? Well, two things: 1) here’s some new footage, and 2) he needs a touch of financial help. See, the floods that happened in Kentucky this past summer effectively destroyed one of his sets, an authentic Civil War fort. His new plan: Build one himself. He’s actually really close to meeting his pretty-modest-for-building-an-entire-damn-fort-set goal, a touch over $2,000, and as you can see from the clip above, his movie looks pretty damned good. It’s a strange sensation when a man you’ve mocked for over five years for his penchant for girly drinks and inability to hold his liquor suddenly displays the ability to make a shockingly professional looking film. Or build an actual fort. Both are equally strange, actually.

And while you’re thinking about being in a donating mood, I’m told the Campaign to Get Me and Topless Robot in Star Command (or CtGMaTRiSC, for short) is well over halfway there, but your donations are still needed and welcomed and appreciated. Donate here, and don’t forget to email [email protected] when you do.
