There’s Also a Men In Black 3 Trailer, I Guess
Riddle me this, boys and girls: Men in Black is a sci-fi comedy movie franchise. It involves aliens and, apparently in the third movie, time travel. It’s based on a comic book. So why on earth am I so hesitant to post this trailer? Is it because it’s pretending so hard to be a beloved movie franchise when it’s only had two movies in the last 14 years — with the last one nearly a decade ago? Is it because even in this trailer it’s content to use the same jokes as the first two movies (“Boy, aliens sure are weird looking! I’m going to wipe your mind now!”)? Is it because even though I enjoyed the first movie, I really have no attachment to the characters, so examining Tommy Lee Jones’ past sounds incredibly dull to me? Or is it because the G.I. Joe: Retaliation trailer is so awesome that I’m bitter I had to waste my time posting this piece of shit when I could have been watching Joe for the 18th time instead?
