Batman’s a Quitter in Two New Dark Knight Rises TV Spots
Not to go all pro and con on you again, but the good news is that two new TV spots for The Dark Knight Rises came out this weekend, and like the first two, they both make DKR seem extremely exciting, fun and entertaining. But the bad news is they both clearly reference Bruce Wayne being a quitter — the trailer above has Bruce telling Lucius Fox he’s “retired” twice, while the trailer after the jump features Alfred telling Bruce “You’re not Batman any more.” This still bugs the shit out of me. You know what’s more entertaining than watching people trying to get Bruce Wayne to be Batman again? Watching Batman punch criminals in the dick, that’s what. (Via ToysREvil)
