SDCC: The Mass Effect Anime Meets All Your James Vega Needs


You do have James Vega needs, right? You did want more of the Freddie Prinze Jr.-voiced character, and his adventures? You know, as opposed to any of the better known and better liked Mass Effect characters who weren’t just introduced in ME3? Right? 

No? Too bad, because the Paragon Lost anime is all about Vega’s battle with the Collectors, as he recounts in ME3, making it a prequel of sorts to the game (just a Vega-centric one). As this trailer shows, it looks pretty good — Production I.G. anime usually are — although the narration is the tiniest bit heavy-handed. “Space! The final fronti– er, the endless abyss!
