TV News Trifecta: Avengers, Arrow, Doctor Who

? Marvel is talking with ABC about making a TV series based in the Marvel movie-verse. Somehow, a lot of nerd sites are turning that into “Marvel’s gonna make an Avengers TV series!” which is, patently, wrong. TV couldn’t afford any of the stars, and Marvel/ABC couldn’t afford the effects. So chances are if it happens, it’ll focus on smaller heroes, maybe Luke Cage and Iron Fist, or maybe some SHIELD agents. I think Joblo puts it best: “I’ve got a fever, and the only cure is more Clark Gregg.” Thanks to everyone who sent in the tip.

? Some Canadian actor named Michael Rowe has been confirmed to play Deadshot in the third episode of the color neutral Arrow TV series. Rowe is been in basically nothing, but you can see his headshot at Spinoff if you want to check to see if he’s Deadshot looking enough for you.
? This is a huge spoiler for the upcoming Doctor Who season — specifically one episode — but it’s pretty awesome. All I’ll say is that it involves the return of a Who villain, and you can see it for yourself at Nerd Bastards. Also, pun intended.
