I Think Darth Vader Is Bored
Samsung has been using Darth Vader to shill its Galaxy S phones in Japan for awhile now, but this new ad is just… odd. It’s less about the phone, and more about Darth Vader seemingly trying to kill time — hanging out with people, listening to a dude jam on his guitar, getting his hair done (?), chilling with a hobo on a boat, stalking young girls, whatever. It’s less a phone commercial and more a desperate cry for help from the loneliest dude in the galaxy. That’s what you get for killing all those Tusken Raider babies, Anakin. Of course, you also got to have sex with Natalie Portman, so I suppose it evens out. (Via Kotaku)
