That Darn Triad Appears to Be Rising Again
Attention fans of mid-’90s first-person shooters: Apogee is remaking their cult classic Rise of the Triad for Steam. Please note this is not a relaunch, a sequel, or a reboot — it’s the same damn game, just with better graphics, better music, more options, and a better engine; the new version will include classics like the Excalibat and Dog Mode, but also include new fun like full dismemberment of enemies. Now, I’ve played all of zero seconds of RotT, so I’ll just leave the video here and back away slowly before getting something horrendously wrong (hopefully I haven’t already). At any rate, I’m betting this news has at least a few of you jumping for joy. (Via Kotaku)
