“And Introducing Landoo Calraisan!”

Hells yes. The Star Wars Uncut folks have announced The Empire Strikes Back Uncut, and I, for one, couldn’t be happier. If you don’t remember, Star Wars Uncut was the fan project where the movie was divided into nearly 500 15-second segments, and each one was recreated in a variety of styles by a variety of fans. It was completely awesome, and I have no doubt Empire Uncut will be the same. For the record, this promo video was mostly recorded at the recent Star Wars Celebration and uses a bit of footage from the first Star Wars Uncut; there’s no actual footage from Empire Uncut in there. because it hasn’t been made yet. At the moment, there’s plenty of scenes left up for grabs, but if you want to be a part of fan-made galactic history, I’d sign up ASAP.
