The Hobbit Just Trolled Its Fans
Or Peter Jackson just trolled The Hobbit. One of the two. I’m not sure which is more appropriate, all I know is that this new Hobbit TV spot has trolls in it, and I think they might be wearing pants, and I don’t know how I feel about that. Admittedly, the only evidence I have is that one of them appears to be wearing a vest, but since there’s nothing more disturbing than someone wearing a vest with no pants, and The Hobbit isn’t some sort of sex crime suspense-drama, I’m assuming pants are being worn. Although Gandalf’s “I’m looking for someone to share in an adventure” does sound a bit like Middle-Earth’s equivalent of “I have candy in my van,” so maybe things are more disturbing than I realized.
