UK Toy Fair Reveals New Doctor Who
Okay, the bad news is that economic realities are hitting the Doctor Who toy line just like any other, leading to a new 3-3/4 inch scale. The good news – perhaps more for kids than collectors – is they’re now compatible with most other toy lines out there (finally, that Dalek-versus-Ewok war can happen). Leading to bad news for parents, who’ll have to buy every character over again.
Not that the 5-inch line is dead, mind you, but it’s relying on cheap dioramas, by the looks of it.

Other toys revealed include a special anniversary Dalek with Union Jack color scheme, and Lego-style “Character Building” minifgs of all eleven Doctors. Plus a kid-sized inflatable TARDIS!
