God-Dammit, They’re Remaking The Grinch Again


You really want to risk another one of these? It’s no wonder Taylor Momsen grew to be so screwed up.

Apparently so. It’s going to be directed by Pete Candeland, who really ought to be directing the Candyland movie, if anything. But he’s also directing Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride, based on the ride based on the cartoon based on the book The Wind in the Willows.

I used to love that ride. Then I went on it as an adult and realized it was mostly painted wood panels. But the fact that you die and go to hell at the end is still awesome for a Disney kid ride.

I digress. The new Grinch will be animated, which may lead to Universal Studios at least replacing their Jim Carrey lookalike for something more Seussian. Any strand of hope I can grab, I will…
